Project 611 Turns 1 years old!!!!

 Project 611 turned 1 years old on January 24th! To celebrate our 1-year anniversary we participated in the annual Tarrant County Homeless Count. This was a memorable experience that allowed us connect with other local agencies who work in direct contact with the homeless population in the DFW metroplex. It was quite a way to cap off our first year of growth, development, and outreach. 



Thanks to your continued prayers, donations, volunteerism, and overall support, Project 611 was able to implement or participate in several local and global outreach opportunities:

• 1st Annual Nurture the World summer global outreach. In Summer 2012, Project 611 was able to send our first missioary on a global outreach opportunity. Nathaniel trained in Ireland, then continued on to England to work with men living in a residential drug rehabilitation facility.
• Participation in Misson Arlington's annual Thanksgiving Day dinner. We were able to assist in delivering Thanksgiving dinners to several families in need. We also helped serve Thanksgiving dinner onsite to needy families and individuals.
• 1st Annual Warming Souls Blanket Drive. In December 2012, your donations allowed us to donate blankets, quilts, sleeping bags, and slankets to organizations in Ft. Worth and Waco, which work directly with individuals and families who are homeless.
• Our members were able to help other missionaries and missionary organizations in Guatemala, North Africa, and 11 other countries throughout the world through charitable donations of over $5,000.

                                    
As we embark upon our second year, we look forward to continued outreach in Texas, and new outreach opportunities in Georgia and New York. We are also forming partnerships with agencies in Honduras and Bolivia. In fact, our second missionary will leave for a week-long mission trip to Honduras, in preparation for our 2nd Annual Nurture the World summer global outreach.

Project 611 cannot continue to stretch our hands to those in need without your continued support.
